If you are looking for something to drink this afternoon, you are in the right place! This salted caramel matcha latte will change your day. This salted caramel matcha latté is easy, tasty, and refreshing.

Happy Monday!

Hopefully, you feel the need for a treat today.

You might have been missing the fancy drinks at your local cafes. It’s challenging to go out and buy your favorite treats, so you may find this salted caramel matcha latte something to whip up at home.

On the off chance that you are one of the people who are not a fan of milk, it’s alright. It is beautiful when it is used in baking and cooking. It can also be an excellent complement to cereal. Or, it can be made into a fancy drink. But what about drinking milk by itself? Perhaps not. It might be because people used to tell you to drink one glass of milk per day. Or, you have a perfectly acceptable reason. No one minds!

But, the best thing about milk is the many ways it can be enhanced. You can add matcha cold brew to give the milk an earthy, nutty taste. Then, you can lightly sweeten the milk with maple syrup or sugar, making it a delicious treat.

Ingredients You Need for Salted Caramel Matcha Latte

To give this matcha latte a rich, buttery taste, you need to drizzle salted caramel onto the sides of the glass. Don’t worry; there is no way you can go wrong with salted caramel.

You can make your salted caramel, or you can buy caramel syrup at the store. It can be stored in the refrigerator for a while to make other drinks and treats.

When combined, matcha latte and salted caramel offer the drink a rich buttery flavor. Also, it looks fancy with the drizzle added to the glass, even if it does not take too much time or work.

How to Make Salted Caramel Matcha Latte

First, whisk matcha powder with a bit of water together in a small bowl until it forms a paste. Add in the remaining water, and continue to whisk until the matcha powder has dissolved. A bamboo whisk is best to work with. This helps to dissolve the matcha powder evenly. However, a small whisk should also work. Then, put it aside for now.

Drizzle the salted caramel on the sides of the tall glasses.

Next, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of maple syrup into the bottom of the two tall glasses. Put approximately half a cup of ice into each glass. Then, pour the milk into each glass and ensure it hits the ice.

Add half a cup of ice into each glass. Don’t forget that the ice should be higher than the milk. Then, pour the cold matcha brew and ensure it hits the ice, not the milk. This will give you a layered effect.

This salted caramel matcha latté should be served cold with fresh mint leaves on top.

Enjoy your treat!
