Go ahead and try this pineapple mimosa to have a refreshing twist on the classic, with tropical flair. This is a light, fruity, and easy-to-make recipe that’s perfect for brunch, or any other occasion.

It is possible that you like pineapple, but don’t really enjoy pineapple juice. It can be too acidic, or you might have a bad association with it. However, this delicious recipe for pineapple mimosa might change your mind.

What is a Mimosa?

Mimosa is a simple cocktail that consists of champagne and citrus juice (usually orange juice). This classic cocktail is great for brunch, but it also works well as a welcome drink at a party or bridal shower.

Is a Mimosa the Same as a Bellini?

A bellini is made from peach purée and prosecco. It could be called a mimosa or a bellini, depending on the variation of the fruit juice. You won’t really notice if it has prosecco, champagne, or any other sparkling wine.

However, a bellini has thicker fruit purees, like strawberry bellini, while mimosas are lighter.

What’s in a Pineapple Mimosa?

This may seem silly since it sounds like you’d assume it’s just champagne and pineapple juice.

However, a little bit of triple sec makes all the difference. It lifts the flavor a little with a bit more sweetness and citrus.

This pineapple mimosa, which is easy to make, is light and bright. It is a tropical take on the classic brunch drink. But you can drink it anytime!
