Make Mexico Chiquito Cheese Dip in 5 Simple Steps
Prepare a saucepan. Turn the heat to medium and let the saucepan warm up a little.
Melt the butter stick in the saucepan. Once the butter has melted completely, turn the heat down to low and add the all-purpose flour. Mix slowly until the butter and flour are well combined and there is no discernible flavor.
Slowly add the milk while stirring. Mix in the rest of the ingredients except the cheese. Stir constantly to make sure that it doesn’t stick at the bottom.
After mixing all the ingredients, add the cheese and allow it to melt. Continue to stir until it reaches the consistency of a sauce. The sauce should be thick but not stiff. It will be difficult to mix if the sauce is too runny.
Take it off the heat and add it to the sauce serving dish. Let it cool down for a while. Served it with tortilla chips or nacho chips.
