Make Mexico Chiquito Cheese Dip in 5 Simple Steps

Step 1

Prepare a saucepan. Turn the heat to medium and let the saucepan warm up a little.

Step 2

Melt the butter stick in the saucepan. Once the butter has melted completely, turn the heat down to low and add the all-purpose flour. Mix slowly until the butter and flour are well combined and there is no discernible flavor.

Step 3

Slowly add the milk while stirring. Mix in the rest of the ingredients except the cheese. Stir constantly to make sure that it doesn’t stick at the bottom.

Step 4

After mixing all the ingredients, add the cheese and allow it to melt. Continue to stir until it reaches the consistency of a sauce. The sauce should be thick but not stiff. It will be difficult to mix if the sauce is too runny.

Step 5

Take it off the heat and add it to the sauce serving dish. Let it cool down for a while. Served it with tortilla chips or nacho chips.
