Sometimes the inspiration come from cookbooks, magazines and other cooking websites, other times from my chef friends (lucky me!) and of course from places and people when I travel. Some of the recipes behind the dishes I like look either very complicated or too time consuming. I don’t mind it; people create all sorts of recipes. However, for a person like me, who’s constantly busy with so many things and with difficulties finding any spare time, cooking is not always an option. Or at least that’s what I thought. So I stared with quicker and less complicated things. I found that cooking doesn’t always take much time and brings me pleasure.
The recipes I publish here do not require special training. These are not superior restaurant dishes but things that could easily be made at home, for relatively short time and often with popular products.
I also wish to say few words about how to use the recipes you’ll find here, or my personal philosophy. A recipe is merely words on paper; a guideline, a starting point from which to improvise. For that reason feel free to stir your own ideas into the dishes you will find on these pages. When you cook it once, it becomes yours, so personalize it a bit. Add more of an ingredient you like or less of something you don’t like. Try substituting one ingredient for another. Remember words have no flavour, you have to add your own!
