Arbys Brisket Sandwich Recipe

PREP TIME 24 hours
COOK TIME 1 hour
TOTAL TIME 25 hours

  • 1 Awesome Roll, something low cal
  • 4 oz Brisket
  • 1 Slice Gouda Cheese
  • 3 Onion Tanglers
  • Mayonnaise (optional)
  • BBQ Sauce

For the Brisket

  • 3 lbs Beef Brisket
  • Celery Salt
  • Garlic Salt
  • Seasoned Salt
  • Seasoned Meat Tenderizer
  • 2 Tbsp Liquid Hickory Smoke
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Freezer Bag
  • 1 Cup Dinosaur BBQ Sauce (my preference)
  • ½ Cup Water

  • Cutting Board
  • Apron

For the Brisket

  1. Combine 1 part Celery Salt, 1 part Garlic Salt, 1 part Seasoned Salt, and 4 parts of Seasoned Meat Tenderizer to create your rub.
  2. Continue to apply vigorously until the brisket is fully covered.
  3. If necessary, you may cut the brisket into three pieces to fit them comfortably into your pressure cooker. You can slow cook this brisket, but for a longer time.
  4. Once the rub is applied, place the pieces in a freezer bag. Then, add 2 tbsp of Liquid Hickory Smoke and 1 tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce to the bag. Refrigerate overnight to marinade.
  5. This step should be completed the day after letting the brisket marinade in your refrigerator. Now, put your brisket in your pressure cooker. Then, a cup of BBQ sauce.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of water and pressure cook on high at 70psi for 50 minutes.
  7. Remove the brisket from the pressure cooker and slice the grain into thin slices. Return them to the pressure cooker, so that the juices can be absorbed into the brisket pieces.

For the Onion Tanglers

  1. For a uniform cut, it is recommended to use a mandolin cutter. However, it is perfectly acceptable to use a knife. Just make sure you have approximately 1/8-inch slices.
  2. Batter and fry.

How to Build Arbys Brisket Sandwich Recipe

  1. If you purchased a block of gouda cheese, you have to cut it yourself. You can use your mandolin to slice the cheese and get 1/16-inch slices.
  2. You may use a low-calorie wheat bun if there aren’t buns used at Arby’s. Then, lightly grill it.
  3. This is when you need to remove the already-cut brisket from the pressure cooker, where it had been soaking in.
